On January 3rd 2006, 18-year-old Nazanin was sentenced to DEATH BY HANGING
by a criminal court in Iran after she reportedly admitted stabbing to death
one of three men who attempted to rape her and her 16-year-old niece in a
park in Iran in March 2005. She was seventeen at the time. Her sentence is
subject to review by the Court of Appeal, and if upheld, to confirmation by
the Supreme Court.
Nice to see that over at Investor's Business Daily they are asking the hard questions.
What better time for CAIR and other Muslim leaders to step up, cut through the politically correct fog and provide factual answers to the questions that give so many non-Muslims pause?I wonder if CAIR will take up the gauntlet.
Generally speaking, those questions focus on whether the Quran does indeed promote violence against non-Muslims, and how many of the terrorists' ideas — about the violent jihad, the self-immolation, the kidnappings, even the beheadings — come right out of the text?
