What Kind of Man Reads Buttle's World?

He must read my blog. Or maybe he reads The Corner. Or maybe he's just smart.

Alan Greenspan just said individual accounts might serve as a lockbox.
"We need, in effect, to make the phantom 'lockboxes' around the trust fund real," Greenspan said in testimony Tuesday before the Senate's Special Committee On Aging.
We need to spread the word. I can only imagine how much it hurt at CNN to have to quote him. But they did, and that's something.

The veneer is coming off of the agenda. Could it be a case of counting chickens before they hatch? Wesley J. Smith writes that it ain't only about embryonic stem cells anymore.
It is telling that New Jersey has already legalized cloning and gestation through the ninth month. Moreover, NONE of this year's crop of state legislation intended to legalize therapeutic cloning would place outright bans on implanting cloned embryos into real or artificial wombs. Not one.
