Oakland's Mess

Not content with merely stealing private property from local businesses, the City of Oakland has decided to tax fast food restaurants for litter.

"I don't think that's too much to ask so neighbors don't have to keep picking up trash from their doorways," said Councilwoman Jane Brunner, who proposed the measure.

We couldn't hold the litterers responsible now, could we? Well, what does one expect from the kind of people who blame guns for violence?

These people are officially beyond parody.
