Linked on Drudge was a UPI story about a former Bush administration
economist who
claims the official story about the WTC collapse is "bogus".
Reynolds, who also served as director of the Criminal Justice Center at the National Center for Policy Analysis in Dallas and is now professor emeritus at Texas A&M University said, "If demolition destroyed three steel skyscrapers at the World Trade Center on 9/11, then the case for an 'inside job' and a government attack on America would be compelling."
Well, duh. If flying saucers destroyed the WTC, then the case for an 'alien invasion' would be equally compelling. How he waves away the airliners is stunning. If he doesn't, then he must think the government was in cahoots with the hijackers.
This is the kind of thing that puts the "loon" in lunatic fringe. I fully expect to find it expounded on the marquee of the Grand Lake Theatre. (Those of you not frequenting that part of Oakland have been missing out on a theatre manager coming completely unhinged and putting every nutty moore-on conspiracy theory up there next to the movie titles.)
