I believe that Souter consulted the law of Zimbabwe under Robert Mugabe, and allowed that to inform his interpretation of the American Constitution. Thank goodness we have wise international laws, such as those of Zimbabwe and North Korea, to temper the zealous chauvinism of our own white-male authored patriarchal constitution of oppression.
